Zoe Kittow
Zoe's intuitive artistic approach translates her introspective thoughts and emotions, as well as the natural beauty of her rural surroundings, into a range of pieces distinguished by her expressive mark making and discerning use of colour.

Zoe is fairly local to me in a beautifully rural part of Devon. I have been watching her art journey for a while now; earlier this year I saw her post a painting on her Instagram and it took my breath away! I decided there and then that I must bring her work to you!
Her latest collection, exclusive to No 13, is entitled 'Dancing in the rain'. Zoe lives with a dynamic disability and is in constant chronic pain; she looks to find beauty in everyday moments, seeking out those small glimmers of light. Nature has consistently been her refuge and continues to be the starting point for her work.

The rhythms of the seasons, the crashing of waves and the patterns of the natural world persist regardless of personal circumstances, representing something larger than individual lives. Zoe is a firm believer in joy and pain coexisting, this offers her a profound sense of comfort and is a huge inspiration.
Zoe's captivating pieces, executed mainly in acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, have been showcased in numerous exhibitions throughout the UK. Recently, her work achieved significant recognition when it was exhibited and sold at the esteemed Sotheby's auction house in London, benefiting the admirable charity, Fair Shot.
