Born and raised in North Devon, Niamh developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of her surroundings, which continues to influence her work. A First Class Honours graduate in Contemporary Arts Practice, Niamh has rightly made a name for herself in the art world. Her unique style combines elements of abstract expressionism and figurative art, resulting in vibrant and expressive paintings that capture the essence of everyday life.
Niamh's work often draws inspiration from her memories, conversations and observations of the world around her. She skillfully blends bold colours, expressive brushstrokes and intricate details to create visually stunning and thought-provoking pieces. Her paintings feature recurring motifs such as wine bottles, cat silhouettes and umbrellas, adding a sense of familiarity and nostalgia to her work.
